ibp academy launches Level 5 programme with the British Institute of Innkeepers (BII)
The British Institute of Innkeepers (BII) in partnership with ibp academy has launched a brand new concept in accredited learning, leading to achievement of the ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management Skills.
This innovative programme has been designed for practising and aspiring managers in the licensed retail trade who wish to develop their leadership skills and acquire a national qualification but who don’t wish to leave their busy workplace. Learning is done online with distance support and is totally flexible. Students enrolling on the course will also receive BII professional certification and membership, along with 6 months' trial membership of ILM.
The level 5 programme blends online learning with practical development activities and ongoing feedback provided by experts from ibp academy. The programme is split into modules, each with a blend of online learning, videos, reading and practical activities. Students submit reflective diaries, from which they receive regular feedback, and these also form the basis of their assessment. The programme can be accessed at any time, and completed at the learner’s own pace.
The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management Skills has been designed to give practising or aspiring middle managers a solid foundation for their formal development in the role of leader / manager in a business or organisation. Upon registration to this exclusive BII product, learners will receive complimentary membership to the BII and will be able to access the online training.
Candidates who complete this unique process will also be able to gain direct access into the final year (year 3) of the BA Business and Enterprise programme from Edinburgh Napier University, a unique degree course designed specifically for on-the-job learning minimising time away from the business.
