Diploma in Strategic Leadership (Lean Leadership) through Executive Coaching

ibp academy has partnered with award winning Lean specialists, Ross International to deliver this unique programme, a specialism of one of ILM’s most senior qualifications. It gives those responsible for leading organisational improvements a strong grounding for their formal development as Lean Leaders. It will help them gain a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge and skills required to deliver results for themselves, and their employers, customers and other key stakeholders. It is delivered through a unique blend of learning, centred on executive coaching, that is tailored to the needs of each student. It is a demanding programme but the rewards can be very high.

The Programme

The programme is centred on a combination of executive coaching and work based learning. Students define a set of objectives designed to have a real impact on their workplace and develop this into a workbased learning project. The programme is then delivered through five themes, using a combination of coaching, set readings, individually defined CPD, online learning and reflective reviews. Students progress through the programme, supported by their coach, focusing on achieving high levels of impact for themselves and their organisation, by applying high level learning to the workplace and evaluating the results.

Progression Routes

The Level 7 Diploma is a most prestigious qualification in its own right and is one of the Institute of Leadership and Management’s most senior awards. It also provides students with 60 credits at Level 7. These credits, which are at post graduate level, can be used as a stepping stone for advanced entry into Masters level qualifications. ibp academy and Ross International have developed strong links with a number of UK universities and can facilitate advanced entry to MSc and MBA qualifications, providing up to 40% exemption from the entry requirements. Entry Requirements There are no specific entry requirements but participants will normally be either practising or aspiring senior managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands. They will normally be expected to be able to demonstrate this through holding some form of leadership position and / or a qualification at level 5 or above.
