APL fees
This is an extremely cost effective way to achieve a qualification for candidates who can demonstrate that they have already met many of the required learning outcomes. In fact, cost savings range from 60% to 80% of our full ILM programme costs.
As of September 2011, fees for the APL process are as follows. All are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

| Level 3 Certificate in Leadership & Management Skills | £200 + ILM fees |
| LEVEL 4 - Aspiring middle managers | |
| Level 4 Certificate in Leadership & Management Skills | £200 + ILM fees |
| LEVEL 5 - Practising or aspiring middle managers | |
| Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management Skills | £250 + ILM fees |
| Level 5 Diploma in Management | £500 + ILM fees |
| LEVEL 7 - Practising or aspiring senior managers | |
| Level 7 Certificate in Executive Management | £300 + ILM fees |
| Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Leadership | £300 + ILM fees |
| Level 7 Diploma in Executive Management | £600 + ILM fees |
Funding
The Standard Learning Credit (SLC) may be used in support of the APL process. The SLC Scheme allows personnel to obtain financial assistance for learning costs up to a maximum of £175 per financial year. For more information, see the page on funding.
