ILM

ibp academy has been an ILM Centre of Excellence since 2002 and has worked closely with the Institute to develop a number of new qualification routes. Both of ibp's directors are fellows of ILM and John Parker, is a member of the ILM National Advisory Council.

Edinburgh Napier University Business School

ibp academy works with Forum Interactive to develop unique, high impact learning events.

Forum Interactive has been delivering exciting, experiential learning events for over ten years. They combine quality drama with facilitated learning.

Theatre based methods (like devised plays, forum theatre, role play, voice work, drama exercises) are used alongside action learning and coaching. This approach enables learning to be both active and supported.

Ross International

ibp academy has been working in partnership for many years with Ross International, a team of Edinburgh based Resultants. They specialise in facilitating transformational change through the application of Lean thinking within organisations. They have demonstrated that, even in these hard times, it is possible to fully involve staff and have them apply Lean principles to overcome serious business challenges and generate rapid, sustainable results with significant return on investment.

Ross International first of all ensure that top level management commitment to Lean is in place as this is vital in the creation of an environment where people want to get involved and make things happen. Ross International provides training in Lean and in improvement methodologies to allow staff the opportunity to design and implement changes that will rapidly make things better for all stakeholders.

In response to market demand, ibp academy and Ross International have jointly developed a suite of high level courses for managers and consultants who are responsible for leading organisational improvements and maximising efficiencies within organisations. In other words, doing more, with less.

Time & Tide

Time & Tide, led by Jackie Scutt, work at the non-directive end of the coaching spectrum which means that their coaches use questions and draw on relevant models to help people explore their issues and find their own solutions. A truly effective coach will not offer advice and will rarely make suggestions based on their own experience. The focus is on moving an individual towards an outcome, helping them feel committed to change and empowered to take action.

Coaching can be used for personal or professional development, and often for both. Clients will often be interested in developing their skills within their current role and increasing their readiness for the next step in their career. In these challenging times, the role of the professional workplace coach has possibly never been more relevant.

In response to market demand, ibp academy and Time & Tide have jointly developed a suite of ILM accredited courses for managers and consultants who are looking to develop their coaching capability, either within their own organisation or as independent consultants.

Change Hub

Change Hub provides coaching, consultancy, facilitation, leadership and team development services specialising in change management.

They offer an integrated, cost-effective range of services tailored to a wide variety of individuals and public, private and third sector organisations to enable them to build capability for successful change and improvement. The team have particular expertise in the housing, health, and regeneration sectors and at working at the interface between the public and private sectors.

Change Hub's Directors are Dr Gill Taylor and Trudy Birtwell, who've both got a wealth of experience at executive level as change agents and who are qualified coaches and facilitators.

Lesley Hunter

Lesley has over 25 years experience as a professional speaker, coach and trainer in the field of leadership development. From her extensive work in neuro linguistic programming, behavioural change and emotional intelligence, she is a firm believer that the most effective leaders are critically aware of how their own behaviours affect and influence the people around them. She maintains that once you really know yourself, you will begin to understand how adapting your behaviour can motivate and support others giving you the emotional resilience to make choices, be flexible and have the capacity to lead effectively in fast-changing and challenging situations.

Thomas International

ibp academy works with Thomas International when our programmes require business assessment tools eg. psychometric testing, aptitude testing, job profiling.
