About ibp academy - Management Courses and Leadership Qualifications Provider

ibp academy has been helping people and organisations become leaders in their field since 1996.

We develop leaders and managers through practical work based learning programmes that lead to globally recognised qualifications from the Institute of Leadership & Management. In many cases, these can then offer progression routes into higher education at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

We offer courses in the following subject areas:-

An award winning training provider, we offer leadership and management development programmes to individual students and also to employers.  We offer a flexible and cost-effective delivery model through our online learning environment - iAcademy. In addition we have a strong track record of designing tailored in-house programmes for employers. We also provide programme management, accreditation and learning consultancy services.

Established in 1996, ibp academy's client base includes:-

  • Public sector clients, including local authorities and non-governmental organisations
  • Small to medium size enterprises (SMEs)
  • Third sector organisations, including social enterprises

ibp academy has been a Centre of Excellence for the Institute of Leadership & Management since 2002. We were also one of the first training providers in the UK to have been accredited against IS09001:2008.

We are one of the largest centres for the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) in the UK and have a strong track record of developing new qualifications under their guidance.  Both directors of ibp academy are Fellows of ILM.

We have also joined forces with Edinburgh Napier University Business School to offer practical, workbased learning programmes that allow participants to gain a degree, either at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

We have formed a number of strategic alliances with partners, with whom we work to achieve the best, and most innovative “fit” to our clients’ needs.

Over the last 10 years, the success of our programmes and learners has been recognised through the award of a number of National Training Awards, most recently in 2007 (UK NTA) and 2008 (Scottish NTA).  We are an Investor in People and have recently achieved IS09001, one of the first organisations in the UK to achieve this under the new 2008 standard.
